The University of Minnesota requires all staff and faculty traveling overseas for University purpose register their travel prior to departure. After clicking "Register Travel", you will be prompted to log-in with your x.500 (unless you are already authenticated).

After authenticating, you will be asked to:
  1. Provide any demographic information that was not captured from your PeopleSoft record,
  2. select the location and dates of travel, and
  3. provide emergency contact information.
The process should take no more than 5 minutes. You will have the option to view resources, upload travel documents for storage in the secure system, and use the journal function to record information about your travel.
 

Registering travel for someone else?
Be prepared to provide their name, email, campus phone number, appointment type (staff/faculty), and department/unit name.

Returning to view a registered trip or access travel resources? Click "login" at the top of the page. Note: this will not work if you have not yet registered a trip with the button above.

Traveling with students? If you are leading a student program that is working through one of the education abroad offices, you do not need to register here. If you are traveling with students but not working with an education abroad office, you must register here and assure your students follow policy. See the "Traveling with Students" resource after logging in.
